4. I don't think so Brent
I think it starts today, the unification of the party. Right now it's all about legacy for the Clintons-I have hope today that they will help unite this party and help get Obama in the White House.

I LIVE in Florida-there IS no healing needed here-we all knew what the deal was on January 29th-we all knew that our votes meant nothing but some of us voted as an exercise in democracy or a civil lesson for our kids. The only thing THIS Floridian missed was being able to see the candidates up close and personal-I envy those that did.

18. This part is from Americablog is great:

"We like General Clark here at AMERICAblog, and have a bit of a history with him. So we hope what we're hearing is true. But the general better watch it - this could be his most dangerous mission to date. When you take on the Clintons, the sniper fire is real."

51. NO. He's a Hillary supporter. Clarke being Obama's VP would mean....
Obama had lied about the very foundation of his campaign: to change politics in D.C.

Besides, it would be a slap in the face to the Dem politicians who took the risk of alienating the powerful and vindictive Clintons and supported Obama. There are plenty of Obama supporting politicians who would make a great VP choice.

3. I'm trying not to think that way MM
I WANT to love Hillary and Bill Clinton again. I HOPE to see them go back to being the great democrats that they were for so long to EVERY ONE OF US once again. Remember Hillary helped a lot of congressional democrats with a lot of money that she was flush with after her last senate run. Also, I want to see Wesley Clark on the ticket for VP.

19. Did you even listen to what she said last night?
She is not about destroying the party and I have no doubt that she will campaign vigorously for Obama. She is about sticking to her promise to get a resolution for the MI and FL voters and to carry on until the primary is over. What she does know and faces up to is that Obama will NOT be elected President even with all his charm and intelligence and all the hype. America WILL NOT seat a black President and you can count on it. Voters voted against their own interest in 2000 and in 2004. They voted against white men who represented their own interest. Do you honestly think they will not do the same with a black candidate? Even the huge number of blac voters will not be able to turn that around. And contrary to popular opinion here, the GOP will not sit home just because McCain is the candidate.

50. You couldn't be more wrong.
2000 and 2004 were STOLEN. Americans didn't NOT vote against their interests.

The GOP base HATES McCain.

Clinton signed off on disallowing MI and FL UNTIL SHE NEEDED TO USE THOSE VOTERS.

And your claim that most Americans are BIGOTS is DISGUSTING.

We will seat Obama. And he will be the best thing that happened to us since Howard Dean proved that Big Money doesn't own us.

Would be the best president of the Unites States. As an Obama supporter I have nothing but respect for that.

If this article is to be believed, now that Hillary has no chance of winning without changing the rules he is looking past the nomination to the good of the party and the country. I have even more respect for that.

How about you?

This is just reinforcing what she already knows. She may not drop out this week, but it will be within weeks. There is no doubt that Obama is our nominee, so give her a couple weeks if she needs it. Let her pay a few bills, if her supporters want to give her a parting gift.

40. Clark led by example
As soon as it became apparent that he could not catch John Kerry in 2004 he dropped out of the race and began fighting for Kerry who he was convinced would be our nominee going up against Bush. It was very hard for a lot of Clark supporters to take at the time, but he knew the right thing to do when the time came.

This is not true. He did not contact Hillary or the Clinton campaign expressing a desire for her to drop out.
As I wrote in the post last night, we like General Clark here at AMERICAblog. So, we are more than happy to post this denial for him and his staff.
