SUSA Indiana: Clinton (54) ; Obama (42)
http://www.surveyusa.com/client/PollReport.aspx?g=777e9395-9b22-44ec-a525-981fcb9029e9

3.8 margin of error.

Black vote: 77-21 Obama
White vote: 58-39 Clinton

Black vote is lower than usual for Obama. But even if it's actually 90-10 Obama, it wouldn't sway the results too much. We should be heading for a split tomorrow.

10. I agree - - Zogby needs prayers.
Being wrong is one thing. Zogby's massive errors are a disgrace and quite shameful.

2. only 77% black vote for Obama?
That's the lowest I have seen yet. I know SUSA's been pretty accurate this year but that number makes me think they might be off in this one.

5. SUSA always has this, and it's always wrong.
They were predicting something similar for PA, in which 93% of African Americans ended up voting for Obama.

They've been consistently off in their estimation of the African American vote, but it has oddly been balanced out by the Republicans voting for Hillary so the end result is usually a wash.

27. I think you missed my point...
They tend to underestimate Obama's African American support, but it usually ends up being canceled out by the "Operation Chaos" BS.

15. I think AA hoosiers were even pretty upset with the Wright press club performance.
After Obama denounced strongly, things are changing. The non-stop coverage is really hurting him here.

28. You think it hurt him with black voters?
Are some black voters in Indiana upset about the way he handled it?

30. I think Wright hurt him, but he handled it very well. I think they were pretty upset at Wright.
Just a possible explanation about the 77% number.

6. Probably later today
but don't put too much stock in it. SUSA, while the best pollster this year, has not performed well in the South. They've underestimated Obama's support consistently, except for in Virginia I think.

7. Every pollster has underestimated Obama in the South
They all did in SC, GA, AL, and to some extent in Virginia too.

8. Hillary has the Hoosiers right where she wants them, right where she needs them, where they need her

Clinton Has The Hoosiers Right Where She Wants Them, 24 Hours Till Votes Are Counted: 24 hours till votes are counted in the Indiana Democratic Primary, Hillary Clinton defeats Barack Obama in the symbolically important popular vote, and possibly by enough to pick up more than a trivial number of net Convention delegates, according to SurveyUSA's final pre-primary tracking poll conducted for WCPO-TV Cincinnati and WHAS-TV Louisville. In 4 tracking polls over the past 5 weeks, Clinton has never polled lower than 52%, Obama has never polled higher than 43%. At the wire, they finish: Clinton 54%, Obama 42%. Among males, the two have been tied in 3 of the 4 tracking polls. Among females, Clinton has always led by at least 14, and finishes ahead by 22. Among Republicans and Independents, the two are effectively tied. Among Democrats, Clinton finishes ahead by 19. Clinton leads among Conservatives, Moderates and Liberals. She leads among Pro Life and Pro Choice voters, among regular and not-so-regular church goers. In Northern Indiana, she leads by 11. In Central and Southern Indiana, she leads by 27. In greater Indianapolis, Obama leads. Among voters under 35, Obama leads. Among voters over 35, Clinton leads.

13. I was surprised by Obama's very poor showing in Central and Southern parts of the state
Central 35%
Southern 34%

But then again the southern part of the state is near Kentucky where his numbers are even far worse.

Even if you give Obama 90% of the black vote in this poll, he still loses by double digits.

Obama is tanking among whites. He is unelectable.

25. And Zellary is tanking among black voters.
If you think she's "electable" without their votes, then I can't wait to see the look on your face come November when your candidate's sense of entitlement pays off with just what she always wanted - a GOP presidency, whether it's hers or McCrazed's.
