Last I looked the DNC super delegates are democrats
and from the sounds of it the gas tax is just the type of republican bullshit that they are against. This may appeal to some voters who don't know any better but your typical democrat does knows better.

A potential loss of 300,000 jobs and zero road maintenance during the busiest travel season of the year is not worth saving a few bucks. The only chance Hillary has of winning this thing is making a case the the very people who strongly disagree with this, especially when Clinton is only doing it to pander during an election. Look for more of them to swing towards Obama because of this.

3. But the point the op is maki ng is that it is the delegates who
see through the crap and won't be swayed. And that's why the Clinton's ae trying to sell the "popular" vote thing. They know they can't fool the delegates.

7. afraid you're correct
high gas prices are an issue even in the primaries, shelving the gas tax won't really fix the problem, but it'll win votes.

2. Obama does a good job
of explaining why this is not a good idea. I expect this tax relief B.S. from McCain, but the Clintons like to think they are smarter than everyone else. Not this time. They look like fools.

4. And Obama stands his ground and shows integrity
not pandering to the moment or a short term solution that's more costly in the long run.

5. Exactly and his getting props from people for doing so
This one example might push some SDs to announce for him. If they truly don't want "politics as usual" which a vote for the Clintons will produce.

9. Sadly, the sheeple will buy this gas tax scam, just like they buy Chimp's "stimulus package"
Living in Washington state, I can tell you for a fact that uninformed or misinformed voters will support anything labeled as a "tax cut". Then, when the roads and bridges fall apart, and the mass transit systems that have been planned for decades don't get built, they don't see the connection. Taxes pay for services. And if I have to pay $4 for a fucking gallon of gas, I'd like to be able to do what little driving I do anymore on some decent roads.

10. KO said she was cutting her nose off in spite of her face.
He was wondering didn't she know that she was saying you are with "us or against us" that those uncomitted super delegates are against her on the issue of the gas tax!!!! LOL
