1. Let me guess...
a few weeks from now we'll have identified the names of all of these "concerned citizens" and it won't look pretty.

2. Does Hillary really think that she is going to steal the nomination with these tactics?
Edited on Wed Apr-30-08 07:34 PM by LakeSamish706
It's not going to happen Hillary, your days are numbered (Thank God).

Edited to say:

Yes, I agree that every vote needs to count, but the voters need to be taking this up with there Republican screw ups that decided to change there Primaries.

5. Even better, it was reported on KO that a few in the crowd
had Obama, Edwards, and Kucinich T-shirts on... but when a reporter asked one of them if they were Hillary supporters, they answered "We aren't supposed to talk about that".

The Clintons are nothing more than inept Rove operatives.

8. Yes-I saw that! The Clinton people are scarier than the Repubs.-because they're SUPPOSED to
be DEMOCRATS which SHOULD translate into "better than Repubs." But they're not. Disgusting.

Did you see, a couple minutes later, Hillary trying to use a coffee machine and not being able to figure it out? Why doesn't THAT get more coverage, painting HER as an "out-of-touch elitist"?

11. She didn't even try to operate the gas pump
because, as she said, she hasn't done that for a very long time now what with Secret Service...

BUT, my question is... this was a staged photo op. The guy had to BORROW a pickup to take her to the gas station, the gas station AND the pump were already pre-selected and roped off. So... why didn't she bother to do a practice run earlier in the day so she could operate the damn thing...

Today should have been the end of her campaign, including her supporter telling everyone that we need a leader with testicular fortitude! Today was her Dukakis in a tank or Kerry windsurfing moment.

12. I think it was more like Bush Sr. with the scanner at the grocery story (if you
include the coffee machine incident.)

Yeah-why DIDN'T they go the distance by showing her how to pump the gas? It's not rocket science. But of course since the narrative is that she's the "regular joe" it doesn't fit. Same reason I've seen so little coverage of Obama's B-ball games compared to his bowling photo-op. It doesn't fit the "elitist" narrative. :eyes: (I HOPE it's getting covered in IN and NC).

6. haha, an NBC reporter asked one woman who she supported.
The woman said "We're not supposed to talk about that."

Hmmmmm, I wonder....

The former Edwards Communications Director called bullshit on their trying to present it as a "grassroots movement".

7. No way this isn't an HRC event
I've never seen a protest like this with such well printed signs and teeshirts and all the flags...

That Count our Votes sign just looks too much like the Hillary sign.

Oh... wait. I guess this wasn't really in dispute was it?
