Jeremiah Wright's revenge
I almost tempted to support Obama just to piss this crazed maniac off. This guy needs to shut up and move on.

http://www.nypost.com/seven/04302008/news/nationalnews/rev_enge_is_sweet_for_betrayed_pastor_108791.htm?page=0

"The Rev. Jeremiah Wright would be happy to see Barack Obama's presidential campaign derailed because the pastor is fuming that his former congregant has "betrayed" their 20-year relationship,

The Post has learned. "After 20 years of loving Barack like he was a member of his own family, for Jeremiah to see Barack saying over and over that he didn't know about Jeremiah's views during those years, that he wasn't familiar with what Jeremiah had said, that he may have missed church on this day or that and didn't hear what Jeremiah said, this is seen by Jeremiah as nonsense and betrayal," said the source, who has deep roots in Wright's Chicago community and is familiar with his thinking on the matter.

"Jeremiah is trying to defend his congregation and the work of his ministry by saying what he is saying now," the source added.

"Jeremiah doesn't care if he derails Obama's candidacy or not . . . He knows what he's doing. Obviously, he's not a dumb man. He knows he's not helping."

3. This just proves that Obama is a filthy liar.
Obama KNEW what Wright was preaching, and he's been lying through his teeth for months.

If you don't have a problem with what Wright preaches, thats fine with me, but the fact Obama is a liar should be a problem with everyone.

5. he's a politician
I know everyone likes to pretend he's different, but he will spin the facts in hte best possible way every time he can, and drop kick someone to the curb when they are weighing him down.

again, he's a politician, I bet the Hammurabi did the exact same thing. it's not new.

4. Interesting...
So basically, if obama hadn't lied about their relationship the good Rev probably wouldn't have been a problem for young Barak.

Oh, what a tangled web...

BTW - Mr Wright doesn't seem to be a very good Christian. So much hate and ego. Which is one of the reasons I question obama's judgment (as well as his honesty.)

I wonder how this is playing in the "black" churches in America? Is Obama a sell out?

9. Maybe you did not hear but Wright said at the press thing when the question
Was Obama in church on those days?

Wright asked the reporter back -"how often do you go to church", the reporter basically said not often WHICH is exactly how often Barack attended church. This is backed up by Wright himself, so those "youtube" loops I doubt Obama was there for those.

23. No...
he's VERY relevant. This changes alot of peoples perception of Obama.
What's irrelevant is Obama distancing himself from Wright now - the damage has been done.

Everybody knows Obama attended this man's church for 20 years, was married by him, had his children baptized by him and called him a "friend and a mentor" - and then claimed he didn't know about Rev Wrights' extremist views until now.

When the Rev. became a *political liability,* Obama showed himself to be what he is: a lying, hypocritical, self-serving politician.

But he sure talks purty - and Oprah likes him!

"I can no more disown Rev. Wright than I can disown the black community." Barack Obama, 3/19/2008/

I hope the black community doesn't become a political liability for Sen. Obama!
