Obama Signs In PA (large pics)
I mentioned I saw a lot of new Obama signs and then someone asked for pictures. Someone even started a thread about it. I said I would take a camera with me today and take some;

In front of my house - buggy just happened by.

At my polling place - Two Obama signs, 1 Hillary (2 Ron Paul)

15. Just talked to hubby who is working inside a poll in western PA
The buzz arould town is the enthusiasm and number of young voters. This is supposed to be Hillary country, so it may be a good sign.

When I voted, the poll workers said they had a very large number of first time voters.

23. Funny story. Several new voters when asked who they were voting for (Dems or Repubs)
just blurted out "OBAMA".

He said he got the impression that most of the poll workers supported Clinton (he is there as an official Obama campaign poll watcher)and they seemed a little cool toward him at first, but now they are all buddies. :-)

5. Sweet. Where are you in Pennsylvania?
The horse and buggy passing in front of your house; could it be any more picturesque?

But combining yesterday and today, I have seen 1 Clinton yard Sign, 3 Obama signs, and 58 house for sale signs.

14. We don't have those red brick, white trim houses in California
I love the diversity in this country. Sometimes the east coast feels really far away.

16. One of the saddest things I ever saw was the flood in ND in 97(I think)
and what it did to SO many homes..Btw, Clinton did do really well with those folks up there. They never forgot him for it either.
They were modest, but nice homes that were completely trashed. It was so sad.

And I get a kick out of the quonsets up there.

25. Yes, I Agree...
It's nice to be just a few hours driving time from so many large cities, and to be able to come home too.

26. Thanks for the pix! One minor and tangential question....
Why do you block out license plate numbers? I commend your diligence in doing so, if you see a reason, but I'm not sure there is a reason. There's no expectation of privacy in driving around in public. From the practical point of view, it's not like someone's Social Security number.

I wouldn't see much chance that some crackpot would copy a plate number off DU, check with the state motor vehicle department to find out the owner's contact information, and then send a nasty note denouncing Obama supporters as terrorists or whatever. Yes, it could conceivably happen, but those crackpots could just as well get the information by roaming the parking lot at a big mall and finding some Obama stickers.
