The Five Stages of Grief (or Loss):
1. Denial. Iowa doesn't matter, Hillary is still inevitable. We won New Hampshire! Iowa was a fluke! They will be steamrolled under our momentum!
2. Anger. Damn Obama cultists! You're all idiots! All those states where he won are nothing but latte-sipping boutique states! We don't need you!
3. Bargaining. Dear, Super Delegates: You must subvert the will of the party voters and give this nomination to me. Obama can't win in the General Election ... for some reason. And we will make Michigan and Florida count despite the rules and the consequences they knew of well in advance! Hey, look! If you pretend it's the General Election, and pretend that Hillary will win the same states against McCain that she won against Obama, and count Michigan and Florida even though Obama wasn't even on the ballot in Michigan, then she's actually kind-of winning!
4. Depression. (Current stage) Sexism is the real reason why I'm losing. Everyone who criticizes me hates women. It has nothing to do with my policies, record, or my campaign. Poor me. My defeat would be nothing less than a return to pre-suffrage America.
5. Acceptance. (The sooner, the better. Hopefully imminent.)
