Is the Rendell/Farrakahn love-fest being reported by Cable News at all?
Edited on Mon Apr-21-08 02:30 PM by FrenchieCat
Just wondering, if any Greatest hit on the Rendell tapes were being played at all in the media, in reference to his endorsement of Minister Farrakhan? (I'm trying not to watch, cause I can't stand none of 'em.

Seem like it would be "BREAKING NEWS" or something...if for no other reason but to illustrate the hypocrisy of Clinton "demanding" that Obama denounce the "non-ties via his pastor" that he had to Farrakhan.

If this is not being reported, why isn't it? http://www.politico.com/blogs/bensmith/0408/Rendell_and_Farrakhan.html#comments

1. Why would they? Hillary/Rendell are white.

This only matters if you happen to be black.

7. But isn't that Blatant omission?
What would be the rational that this doesn't mean anything? Really strange to me. Ed Rendell has been all over the place saying that Pennsylvanians won't vote for a Black man, etc....

8. Rational?
Bringing this up in the first place wasn't very rational on their part. But this is the media we are dealing with, they haven't been rational ever since I started watching them.

I hope I'm wrong in this particular case, but I doubt it.

9. age?!?! seriously, I don't think the msm thinks they need a rationale, there is so much blatant
racism they just gloss over it wouldn't surprise me, although the timing and hypocrisy is just stunning. btw, when Rendell said that about the voters in his state, I felt like it was more of a letting them off the hook than an explanation of who they are. Now that their beloved governor said they wouldn't vote for a black man, well then why should they?

20. Shouldn't we be sending this to the media? To let them know that we know?
I mean, at least, we should let them know that the Internets are waiting.

Guess they'll wait till next Sunday?

21. I hope not
Do we really want to see a Democratic Governor smeared just to help take Hillary down? Obama may need Rendell to help him carry Pennsylvania in the fall.
