Those who knew better, became wimps, and let the press manipulate them
Our party leaders screwed up big time when they allowed the press to silence
calls for a Clinton withdrawal. She should have withdrawn on March 4th
when it became a mathematically improbability for her to win by the
standard measure - DELEGATE COUNT. But, because this makes good theater
the press displayed outrage at such a thought. And too many who should
have spoken up got too scared to. This action, coupled with Clinton's refusal
to bow out gracefully as is the typical custom, allowed her to continue.

To what end? No happy ending scenarios here, folks?

1) Clinton gets the nomination.
The ONLY way this will happen is if she pulls some kind of power play and
manipulates superdelegates to her side and takes it on a technicality. She can not
win delegate or even popular vote count. It's mathematically close to impossible.

If Clinton takes the nomination, in this manner, there will be total anarchy
in Denver. And for the Obama voters...if you saw the spontaneous demonstration for
him in Philly over the weekend - you ain't seen nothing yet.

2) Obama gets the nomination.
He may be too bruised to compete against McPain. Obama's numbers have steadily
declined against McPain as Clinton has planted seeds against him. Who knows
how bad it will be by Denver. And, by staying in, she has managed to fuel the
animosity of her own supporters against Obama - who will need every single
vote in November.

Please, Clinton supporters, please tell us how you see her winning - from
a mathematical perspective. By delegate totals - which is the standard measure.

If you can't, then please admit that if she wins, it will be some power
play regarding the rules or superdelegates.

I would love to hear how you think she can win and whether or not it
would matter to you if Obama has more delegates.
