Goat's 7 minutes:Ad, by an issue group, on "Leadership"
What do you think? Would it help or hurt in the election? To have an issue group, or even the Dem Party, use those amazing panic/blank looks during the My Pet Goat scene F911? Leadership? Let's put that idea to rest forever.

1. Use it!
Give 'em both barrels, keep them on the defensive for the rest of the campaign. I don't think ANYTHING should be held back. We need to keep beating them over and over so they have no time to do anything but respond.

Pound the body and the head will fall...

2. Biggest problem: Too long
Have to find a way to get the idea of how excruciatingly long it was without taking up the equivalent of real time.

5. Michael Moore's Treatment of It
didn't occur in real time. He had a clock at the bottom of the screen while musing about what was going through *'s head, even cut away to other scenes before returning to *'s stupid expression, the pet goat book, and the clock. I thought it was effective.

3. It's Fair Game
I see the 7-minute scene as absolutely indefensible. Republican heads will spin trying to rationalize it.

Fade out.

Fade in: "who couldn't even get him to walk away from My Pet Goat."
