A free market conservative organization - called a "527 political organization" goes public on Friday with hard hitting independent issue ads on television. Its about time.

Progress for america is the PAC, and is funded by the Heritage Foundation.

1. It will be interesting to see
who it hurts. Bush, certainly, is no free-market man. (I don't fault him for that. So he cannot do the impossible). But it will be really tricky to spin a free-market position for Republican partisan advantage.

They can probably do it, though. They can afford to hire the very best spinmeisters, after all.

a PAC can't be a 527 org. It seems the right-wingers don't know much about election law.

MoveOn.org has a good new ad out on the poor quality of jobs being created now. That's a great progressive 527 for us to contribute to, if someone has maxed out his/her contribution to Kerry.
