A very electable uniter.

Maybe he should have spent more time sharpening up his bowling skills and less time hanging out with Rezko and Wright if he really wanted people to believe he can relate the average American.

Oh but he might play basketball with ya if you get 10 of your friends to vote for him!

7. Jobless people ARE bitter.
We were raised to believe that if we went to college and studied hard, and worked hard on the job, we'd realize the American Dream: We'd have two nice cars, a loving family, a decent house to live in, some sort of job security, a pension when we retired, health insurance paid for by our employer or our spouse's employer, and an occasional vacation or other luxury.

We were FUCKING LIED TO BY THE POWERS THAT BE. ALL THEY DID WAS TAKE OUR LABOR UNJUSTLY AND NOT PAY US WHAT WE WERE WORTH, AFTER WE SPENT YEARS IMPROVING OURSELVES. NOR DID THEY PROMOTE US, ACKNOWLEDGE OUR CONTRIBUTIONS TO THEIR BUSINESSES, OR TREAT US LIKE HUMAN BEINGS. THEY TRIED TO KEEP US IN STRESS AND FEAR ALL THE TIME.

However, in America we are all supposed to jump around and sing HAPPY HAPPY JOY JOY at all waking moments, thereby not dealing with reality.

Obama could have said it more precisely in order to not be blindsided by that PERPETUAL AMERICAN HAPPY HAPPY JOY JOY ritual.

24. The big big lie of globalization being unavoidable
Brought a lot of this about.

In my parents' tender years tariffs were in place. The tariff system kept American textile mills here at home. Ditto the automobile industry. And the steel mills.

We don't make4 it here any more.
And since we don't make it here, we can't make it here.

Maybe Hillary ought to spend more time talking her husband out of supporting trade deals with Death squad killing governments, than talking to voters about if they "roll up their sleeves" everything will be fine! whadda ya think?

A Northeastern liberal with his activist anti-vietnam war past stood little chance against a wartime president. I worked my ass off for him, but I never thought in a million years he was the most electable Democrat out there.

22. you can't handle the truth...! Jillary McClinton - two half baked politicians got you in their hip
pocket. You are the type of person who thinks authorizing wars in which people have been killed is very unimportant. Your candidate signed on to NAFTA. Your candidate is lying about everything from sniper fire to Columbia and you are upset because Obama spoke the truth? People in PA and Ohio are bitter about their conditions. That you keep buying into Clinton's pack of lies is even more pathetic.

http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2008/03/28/obama-to-play-3-on-3-basketball-to-register-indiana-voters/

HAMMOND, Indiana (CNN) — Barack Obama will put his well-reputed basketball skills on the line in an effort to register young voters in this hoops-obsessed primary state, his campaign announced Friday.

Obama's staff is hoping the chance to play a game of 3-on-3 pick-up with the presidential candidate will entice Indiana high school students to register their friends to vote in the state's May 6 contest. Every student that signs up at least 20 new voters before Indiana's April 7 registration deadline will be eligible to be picked to play against Obama in a game the campaign is calling "The 3-on-3 Challenge for Change."

Maybe she should spend more time sharpening up her money-raising and money-management skills and less time hanging out with Mark Penn and "Icky."

but she might do some Pilates workouts in an uptown gym with you if you send her a few dollars to flush down her mismanaged toilet.

43. "Jobless people are bitter"
Well, I may not be jobless but I sure as hell am not in the field I went to school for, and graduated with Honors from, at age 50! I struggle with my mortgage, had to declare bankruptcy when I became a card-carrying member of the "Divorced Wive's Club", cannot afford badly needed health care and am buying fewer groceries to pay for gas to go to my pt $11.52 an hour job! As for the "GD America" crap, he didn't say that and any intelligent person knows better! Bitter? Hell yes, I'm bitter. The quality of life for many of us, has spiralled downward these past 8 horrific years. Sadly, it will take more than 8 to recover. If you want to slam either candidate, fine, but do so with the truth, not with RW bs talking points!
