He's younger than I and has that thousand meter stare...it speaks of distant places and the pain of combat.But he's lying-I was military in 1972 and that was the end....in 75' or 76' or 77' (when he might have been 17) it was all over-another faker, a liar, one more tale of "special units" and places he "Can't talk about" or "can't remember"...Things I remember include when my future was real uncertain-when on November 25-26 my unit looked for volunteers and how close I came to being one....my relief in early December when it looked like I could slide....Liars and bullshitters....you were there and did it or did not...I was content I was saved from doing it-Being shot at happened or didn't....And NOBODY confuses the difference.
