Ya never know, though--he could have been demurring to throw people off. Maybe he will be the VP--he's certainly been vetted. The Democrats did all the oppo research on the guy already, AND the GOP did it, too. It's a moneysaver when you only have to research the last eight years!

13. All I know

The day after the new Senate takes their seats and the democratic party has a clear majority. He needs to be stripped of all committe assignments and left to beg the Repugs for a place at the table.
Any legislation he proposes should be tabled by the majority with no review and he should be made to wear a funny hat.

The last act of President-Elect Obama before his inaguration is introducing legislation for a law mandating Lieberman wears the funny at all times while under the capital dome.

His office should also be moved to the subway station.

Basically, if we pick Clinton McCain gets to eat up the entire center because the hard right will come out in multitudes to vote against her because they viscerally hate her so much, and Lieberman is a good pick for that. If we pick Obama, McCain doesn't automatically get the support of the hard right, and has to pick somebody (a Huckabee or a Pence) to get them to the polls.
