woodward..."A Yalie and a Secret Society Member"
I kid you not....

The staunchly conservative Bob Woodward grew up in Wheaton, Illinois. A good student at Yale, he was ultimately one of fifteen seniors "tapped" for one of that university's secret societies, Book and Snake, a cut below the more infamous Skull and Bones, but the top of the second-tier fraternities.

5. oh it's funny....
... the secret societies that I've run into (Freemasons and Odd Fellows) are a funny bunch, but kinda creepy. And there is a bit of a tiered system with them. Thule, Skull 'n Bones (are they the same) seem to be a bit more "serious" than the Odd Fellows, and the 'Masons are somewhere in between.

Mainly, they are a "boys club" where you make contacts and conduct business sort of out of the light of day... which makes it sound all very conspiracy like.

4. But the thing is -- it got him access.
And now that access has backfired on the WH. LOL!
