FUX just showed a clip of it- it's true. Clip was from a townhall meeting today in Miss., Clinton was answering a question.

Very interesting...

51. I'm sorry guys
I know you don't really MEAN it. (Or I hope) But it is pretty horrible to imply that a fellow democrat who has done so much for this nation would murder another democrat to become president. Much less to imply that they would murder the sitting president in order to take over his position.

btw, congrats on Wyoming.

By the way, ever hear of the play, Macbird?

Seriously, neither Clinton would ever physically harm an opponent. Metaphorically though, they'd put a knife in the back of anyone who stood in their way.

The Clintons are sick. They want to trick some voters there to think that a vote for Clinton is a vote for Obama as VP.

Obama is on the path to become our president. I hope we expose Clinton to them so they understand they are full of crap.

There is no way in hell Obama will accept being her VP. He is in it to win and he will NOT betray his supporters.

41. And that is the reason Bill is talking about it.
This concept is called FUD. They want to not only make people think a vote for Clinton is a vote for Obama but they want to make it seem like Obama could betray us and become the VP.

Everyone our job is to not only expose Clinton for what she is to get him the nomination. We also have to stop the chance that he may be "Backroom dealt" Clinton as the VP.

Also it is an insult to Clinton Supporters to even talk about Her being the VP or having Obama as their VP. Some of them do not like Obama for his choices and they will feel betrayed if Clinton picked him as VP or went for VP.

Let us not be distracted too much with their stupid ass talk about VP. Let them alienate the remaining supporters they have left.

Let us focus on Exposing Clinton for what she REALLY is.

They are also using she wins the big states. The powers in DC do not want Obama and watch for these two to grow. Wash Post and NYT have contribute stories and watch for more. They will push the SD to pick her this time of exp and he gets his turn next.

I will not vote for any ticket with Clinton on it. We must protest the war and not cave in like people do all the time.

Obama, leaders of new movement stand up to the powers and it may cost you but do not cave in to be VP. You would be a vp to Bill and seldom heard of unless a funeral comes up.

to the super delegates they are trying to reel in with that promise.

They KNOW they don't have the votecount and that more supers are siding with Obama and that he IS the presumptive nominee unless they can DRASTICALLY swing nearly all the supers to their side.

Not going to happen. This is a highly manipulative and desperate last ditch effort.

63. Obama: "You Won't See Me as a VP Candidate"
Obama: "You Won't See Me as a VP Candidate"
http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalradar/2008/03/obama-you-wont.html

ABC News' Sunlen Miller reports: While in Casper, Wyo., today Sen. Barack Obama ruled out the possibility being a vice presidential candidate during an interview with CBS' Montana affiliate KTVQ. Here is a transcipt of what he said.

Q: You’ve raised $55 million in February and in your speech today you said "I was against the war in ’03, ’04, ’05 -- all the way on through 2010, and you specifically mentioned Hillary Clinton and John McCain. Could you ever see yourself on the same ticket as Senator Clinton?

A: Well, you know, I think it’s premature. You won’t see me as a vice presidential candidate -- you know, I’m running for president. We have won twice as many states as Senator Clinton, and have a higher popular vote, and I think we can maintain our delegate count -- but you know, what I’m really focused on right now, because all that stuff is premature, is winning this nomination and changing the country. And I think that’s what people here are concerned about. How are you going to provide health care to every American? So I spend a lot of time talking about the plan I wanted to put in place that would not only lower costs for those who already have health insurance, but also make sure people who don’t have health insurance can get health care as good as the health care I have as a member of Congress. Those are the kinds of issues that really make a difference in people’s lives, and we’re going to keep on talking about them.

66. She believes she's OWED something.... AGAIN.
Being on the DLC and a former first lady doesn't mean she is owed the nomination. And blowing her shot by running a poorly constructed, vile, traitorous campaign... and LOSING... does not merit her assuming she'll even be remotely considered for Barack's VP slot.

Why would Barack do his best to wage a clean, civil campaign only to let that venemous snake taint his fresh start for America?

Nice try, Hillabee. Go try that scam on McCain.

67. Clever on their part
I gotta give it to them....

But Bill also knows that the other day's comments by Hillary regarding experience won't help - that if the same "threshold" were applied for him in '92, he shouldn't have been elected.

68. Repeated remarks of this nature are a belittling technique
The arrogance with which it is suggested by the Clintons imply that while Obama is not qualified to become the Commander-in-Chief, he is a candidate to be tutored for such as second in command (read understudy) during Hillary's 8 years. Just another plank in the Clinton platform to demean and belittle Obama's qualifications. Say it often enough and people will automatically start seeing him as a Vice Presidential candidate, rather than a contender for the top spot.

74. They know the country's not ready for a black president or VP.
This is just a ploy to get some black votes. After Hillary wins Pennsylvania, Michigan and Florida, Obama will be as forgotten as Howard Dean, and Wesley Clark will be her running mate.

79. IF she wins PA, MI and FL
Obama will almost certainly have more delegates. Putting aside the fact that Dean us still not forgotten, how many delgates exactly did he have and how many states did he win (hint: VT). Try making sense, but I am probably asking for too much.

75. Hillary is betting on more people voting for her if they think Obama...
will definitely be on the ticket. If he at least has the # 2 spot, I think people overall would still be okay with that. More people would be convinced to vote for Hillary if there is a good chance he will be her VP.
If there is no assurance that he will be on board, she doesn't have any hope really.
It's a sneaky manoeuver on her part, but smart.
If she is bullshitting about this and leading people on to get votes, it's pretty desperate.
If Obama comes out and denies that he would accept the VP position, it would look bad for him too. That he's not putting the party first.
So Billary seems to have him over a barrel.
He could also bullshit and do the same thing with her though, but she needs him on board more than he needs her right now.
