I Just Did Something That I Averred on DU That I Would Never Do
I sent a donation to the Kerry campaign. This after I said on DU that I had sent $ to Dean but would never send $ to Kerry.

Well, Kerry's got some of my $ now.

Now, if I only had a job...

2. Tiz a decission you will not regret
Even though Kerry may not have been your first choice, that donation you made will all be worth it when Bush, Chenney, Rummy, Wolfie, Asscroft, and Rove are all out of the white house come January.

4. We got a phone call from the Kerry campaign today
Sort of made me wonder how they got our number since it's unlisted, but they asked for me by name... (shrug)

Anyway, I'd given some money to Dean earlier but hadn't given anything to Kerry until now. They asked for a hundred. I told them I wasn't a Republican so that was a little steep for me and gave them $25.

So I've done my part and I challenge everyone on here who hasn't yet done so to do your part as well.

5. I used to be the same way
Edited on Fri Apr-09-04 02:12 AM by ChrisNYC
I was a big Dean supporter and used to really dislike Kerry. It's amazing how much I love the guy compared to Bush. I'm a "host" for his $101 event in NYC on April 14 and so far have sold 11 tickets (other than myself) raising $1111 on top of the $101 I paid for a ticket. And I'm sure I'll cough up more money before it's all said and done.

(Edited for spelling)

9. Dean supporter here too...
I really disliked Kerry and felt bitter toward him. However he'll get my vote and some $ as well.

I did gibe Dean $ and like you say I got a call from the Kerry camp asking for a donation. Do you think Dean has handed over his contributions list? Anywho I'll give what I can..

8. I know how you feel -
I've kind of "re-thunk" my position on this too. Unfortunately right now I'm poorer than I've ever been in my life, but I'm trying to get on disability so will send him some them.

I'm still pretty disillusioned, but I want to see a Democratic President before I die, and if we don't get chimpie out now, we might not get another chance.
