Iowa County Conventions are on March 15th...What will happen with John Edwards' 744 State Delegates

Those delegates are estimated to be equal to about 14 delegates. Will those delegate still pledge to Edwards, or will they go to Obama or Clinton?

2. They're Up for Grabs...

With Edwards out of the race, it is futile to vote for him at the county convention. They are, along with the delegates for Biden and Richardson, likely coveted. Look for the county leaders of the Obama and Clinton camps, respectively, to court these delegates.

All in all, I would expect a 55-45 or 60-40 split in favor of Obama among the Edwards delegates and a 70-30 split in Clinton's favor among the erstwhile Biden and Richardson supporters.

3. What is the deal?

Does Hillary keep her delegates in Iowa? Why should Hillary who received fewer votes than Edwards keep her delegates if Edwards can't? I don't believe that Edwards has released his delegates. Didn't they commit to be delegates for Edwards? How does that work?

4. I have no idea but if I were Obama I would be playing Clinton's

statement about how f***** up Iowa was after the caucuses on the radio the day before the convention.
