Republicans may echo Clinton attacks on Obama

SAN ANTONIO, Texas, March 5 (Reuters) - Hillary Clinton's attacks on Barack Obama's lack of foreign policy experience provide a model for how Republicans could run against Obama if he becomes the Democratic candidate for U.S. president.

Clinton's attacks, which helped her win Ohio, Texas and Rhode Island on Tuesday in the state-by-state battle for the party nomination, exposed a vulnerability for Obama, who has served only three years in the Senate representing Illinois.

ohn McCain, who wrapped up the Republican nomination for the November election, is already highlighting his seasoning on national security and would likely assert that Obama is not tough enough to keep America safe.

This was a tactic fellow Republican George W. Bush used in his 2004 re-election campaign against Democrat John Kerry. http://www.reuters.com/article/latestCrisis/idUSN04544024

Barack better find a way to attack and defuse this.

7. Better to know now, rather than after the nomination
We dont want to be stuck with an unelectable candidate.
I want to know everything about Rezco and Auchi now.
What if Obamas donation from Iraqi billionaire Auchi will make him appear disqualified after the swiftboating in the GE?

13. It's called politics
Senator O has had a free ride in the press. Are we to hail him as Caeser and not question his qualifications, just accept that he will tell us what we need to know. If anyone else points out his faults or weakness they are corrupting and dirting the race. People need full disclosure, and by now the HRC camp knows they are going to get the blame regardless of the source.
Bill is blamed for everything that has ever happened. I'm sure some day Pearl Harbor will be linked to his campaign.

Senator O hasn't seen anything yet. The republican party is going to examine him from head to toe, critical vote to vote, and social status to social history . As an American I want to know what a candidate
is about. I don't want them to get elected and then find out about the skeletons. Their former opponent could then say, I just didn't want to run a dirty campaign so we never mentioned these short comings. No thanks, tell me now. No surprises later.

Sounds to me like if we baby the candidates reputation and right to their little bag of secrets then we are setting up a communist society where we just have the right to be told what our candidate wants us to know.

Not the American way.
