Heard the Repubs. say that they had @500,000 e-mail list. WOW!

Dean had @700,000 and I am sure that all the other candidates had as many. If you know your candidates e-mail list number, post it here. Let's see who has the bigger base.

The Repubs. were saying they hoped that half of that list would donate. If that's all they've got, they are in trouble!

If each member of DU, gives $100.00 this weekend, how much would we raise?

I am sending Senator Kerry $100.00 right now. I challenge you to match it and let's keep an eye on his site and post what we raise this weekend.

I'll ask everyone to donate an extra buck for me, because I am too young to donate. If I was 18 I'd empty my whole bank account (basically everything I earned last summer at my job) into Kerry's campaign.

That @500,000 is the number they were talking about. But, maybe I didn't hear right or they mis-spoke.

7. Bad news! What do you think our number is? Any links for either?

We need to work much harder to sign up people for e-mail and to vote! Any suggestions? I am putting pamphlets everywhere I go....laundry-mat, Doctor's office, Cafe, Grocery Store.....right now I am doing one on the lies told and what the truth is. Would love to hear from and get ideas from others, what they are doing at the grassroots level!

8. I heard last month on PBS and NBC(both seemed shocked)

They had 6 million e-mail addresses. It has probably grown since. They also said that they had over 100,000 grassroots people already working and thought it would be close to 1 million by November. They showed the people at one rally and it was huge!!! They were giving out little footballs and the like and it showed all the kids playing and all the adults stopping to talk and sign. It seemed like a party.

If this is all going on almost unreported i smell trouble. Like I said, I saw it on PBS and NBC and the reports though done differently both had the same numbers.
