Yuck! I'm getting a little tired of this.
All news all the time has nothing but McCain's dalliances and meanwhile everybody is out and about digging dirt. We have a country in economic triage...people sick and uninsured...a volitile world...and everyone is focused on somebody's roaming dick. Are we, as a nation, in denial? Do we just not want to confront our problems? Maybe it's time to tell our politicians to stick to the main tent and avoid the sideshows. This other stuff is a diversion and the stuff of tabloids. Let's start making them...all of them...address the things that keep us up at night!

What do you think?

1. I'm with you and I'm not.
I couldn't care less about McCain, or Campaign Hooker Reform.

But if it tears him down then so be it. I already know he doesn't give a shit about what keeps me up at night.

3. Right. This doesn't help her at all.
But, more than that, it doesn't help all of us either. I do agree with the first poster that if it tears MCCain Down it is good but, we are losing so much time and there are so many problems that have to be addressed.

4. I don't think we're losing any time.
This is a NY Times report. It's a 60 Minutes report. It's an actual media event uncovering what could actually be a legitimate corruption story, and it could have legs.

I wouldn't want Obama spending any time or money talking about it though, or forcing the issue.

13. It shut McCain up from attacking Obama before Obama is even the
nominee. That's not a bad thing, IMO.

5. What they SHOULD be focusing on is whether or not he was introducing bills
that benefitted her clients.

8. I love it!....This is the best election ever!
There is not a single republican who isn't a corrupt, hypocritical piece of maggot shit.

The entire repuke party is going down in flames.

Folks have had it with the obnoxious, sleezy, and power-hungry Clinton Machine.

Obama is kicking major butt and positioning for a landslide win of historic proportions!

It's great!}(

10. I was getting tired of the ridiculous Obama nitpicking over his speeches
I signed a breath of relief hearing the first negative report about McCain after weeks of fawning coronation by the media and no negative stories about him while we have had to endure weeks of Rezko mentions and days of media nitpicking over Obama's borrowing phrases for speeches and over Michelle Obama's innocuous statement about pride in America. About time McCain had some kind of scrutiny.

15. The NYT has less than the National Enquirer when it comes to evidence
Why they went to print with it now, I don't know, yet.

It sucked any other news on politics out of the headlines, but it did get the repubs defending and backing McCain in full force.

17. I hear what you're saying, but step 1 in fixing our problems is GRIND THE REPUBLICAN INTO DUST!
If a good ol' sex scandal can aid in this effort I say start grinding.

18. Because the issues don't bring in big ratings and big advertising dollars
it's about money - pure and simple. The networks and media in general aren't interested in issues - they are interested in making money.
