I'm Moving On.
Edited on Wed Feb-20-08 12:02 PM by berni_mccoy
It's been fun and a blast. However, it's pointless anymore to defend Obama against the Clinton supporters here or point out the reality of Clinton. Obama is likely to be the nominee and almost everything that can be said about the two has been said. I'm happy that Obama is most likely going to be our candidate and I'm going to turn my energies to taking McCain apart. I will continue to read GDP, but will posting much less than my normal 3-per-day (and man, I *really* wish it had been 5, but 3 was probably the right number). Anyway, you can see my first reality check of McCain here: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=389&topic_id=2894783&mesg_id=2894783

If you think the Obama supporters are the victims here then I suggest taking time away is a smart move since your PoV is so distorted.

Sort of like the evangelists complaining about the massive wave of religious discrimination they face.

Take a step back and realize there are jerks on both sides stirring the pot.

4. In no way shape or form do I think Obama supporters are the victims. On the contrary
I believe Clinton is the victim of miserable failures for campaign managers. She had everything she needed to win going into this except a good strategy and well managed campaign. Her campaign was a complete and utter disaster and the people who managed it for her should have their careers permanently damaged... however, that's not realistic either. At any rate, I'm not taking time away... I'm just changing focus.

7. Well, the media has not been kind to her either. You can't win if they hate you.
The fact that the media has been deciding this election has me concerned. I have no dog in this game--I don't like either candidate.

6. Hey, good idea.
Clinton supporters are circling the drain. Let's move on to McCain.
