Ohio and Texas!!

Hillary Clinton is down, but certainly not out.

Heads up Clinton supporters. Obama hasn't won anything yet, and let's make sure he goes back to the United States Senate to serve the American people while Hillary heads to the White House.

I certainly respect Senator Obama, but it's time for President Clinton!!

You guys ready for a good fight?

6. With Obama's bad record on predatory lending
and protecting nuclear power plants from inspections, he will do very poorly here. Ohio has had big problems with both, only here they were caused by Republicans. Obama will be viewed as similar to GOP.

Hillary will review all trade agreements. Obama will only review NAFTA. She will also have a trade time-out, something labor has long wanted. Hillary>Obama on trade.

35. Here's a Texas factor that no one has mentioned
In Texas, in order to accomodate the NAFTA travesty, they are talking about installing the "Trans-Texas Corridor," a freeway that will cross the state. A couple of issues: to build the highway, the state government has agreed to hand over the ownership and running of this road to highway contractor big-givers and cronies -- in other words, private contractors are slated to be given a right of eminent domain.

Second, the trucks from Mexico will have a vastly unfair advantage over US truckers (read: Teamsters) because the mexican truckers will not have to follow or abide by US safety or inspection laws. Suits against the mexican nationals (for, let's say, killing people with faulty equipment) will be difficult if not preempted.

Net net: folks in Texas hate the corridor being pushed by governor goodhair. Barack being against NAFTA will resonate very well with the many many rural and working class Texans hurt by it.

I think Hillary is more experienced and would make a GREAT president but I certainly won't be upset with a President Obama...he just needs to surround himself with experienced advisors/cabinet members...like Kennedy did...like Clinton did...

34. Depending on whose calculations you use,
it's entirely possible that Hillary needs-

a) Obama to tank to single digits in TX, OH & PA (Not gonna happen)
b) Some info to come out that would swing the "Supers" to her (Novak said she's got something)
c) FL and MI to be seated @ the convention w/ full voting rights (Not gonna happen)
d) All of the above. (Not gonna happen)

So IMHO the question is- Does Hillary have something on Obama she's been holding in reserve?

66. I think if she had something she would have busted it out by now
Winning Iowa was plan A. Didn't happen.

New Hampshire and Nevada were plan B, part 1, and that worked out pretty good.

Super Tuesday was plan B, part 2, and that did pretty good but not terrific.

If she had an ace in the hole, she should have busted it out before Louisiana, Washington, and Nebraska, and DEFINITELY before Maine.

Even winning Maine would have slowed down the Obama train a bit.

Where did the $100 million go?
I just heard that on CNN.

One of the pundits said that she had been talking to big Clinton(s) donors and they are all asking where did the $100 million campaign treasury go?

Clinton(s) cannot win Texas and Ohio if she doesn't have the big money to buy TV.

We know that Obama has at least $38 million and probably more by now to spend in those states.

My hunch is that the fat lady maybe humming now for the Clinton(s) campaign.

37. Hillary picked up delegates tonight, are you saying she'll at least get 40% in WI?
I wouldn't be so sure.

If you take a look at the polls below, you can see that Clinton and Obama were consistently around 38% to 25% even in a crowded field. When the field dispersed, Hillary had a nice bounce up to 50, but the most recent poll has her back down to 39%. Add in the fact that the Republican race is essentially over and Wisconsin is an open primary and I could see her giving a very Virginiaesque performance.

Then there is Hawaii which is somewhat of a 'home state' for Obama. Enough said. She could go lower still

Sen. Hillary Clinton of New York will kick off her Ohio campaign Thursday with a rally at Ohio State University.

The “Solutions for America” event, to begin at 6 p.m., will be held in the French Field House at Ohio State University. Clinton will be joined by Gov. Ted Strickland and former Sen. John Glenn of Ohio.

Clinton also will campaign in Youngstown Thursday morning, although details were not available

She's full of energy. Definitely stepped up her appeal. I like the compassion and the tone of her pitch. There was lots of energy from the crowd, as well. Her pitch was, "I'm a problem solver." Let's get to work, and put our hopes into action.

This should be a good finish to the campaign, from both candidates. I'm watching Sen. Obama now, as I type . . .

73. Oh let it be "the good fight". Let them use might and integrity. I want
to see that in huge amounts over the next few weeks. And may the best woman/man win. That is all I ask. A really big & fair fight.
