What's the source? An Obama supporter forwarded this to me.
There are two 60-70 year old ladies with whom I am acquainted who are fervent OBAMA supporters and tend to cc their e-mail friends with all kinds of political stuff (and the usual drivel of jokes, etc.) This morning I get an e-mail entitled" FW: Thought you might like to see this. Hilary's Resume. This is worth passing on BEFORE TUESDAY admonishes the note. So, I grab a line to google and source it and 4 pages of links come up including foxnews, freeper, and a whole bunch of others that I'm not familiar with. Does anyone know the origin of this hit piece? Being sent this sort of ilk doesn't make me think well of anyone who uses it.

FYI-
It starts with:

Hillary's Resume

Hillary Clinton has been telling America that she is the most qualified candidate for president based on her 'record,' which she says includes her eight years in the White House as First Lady - or 'co-president' - and her seven years in the Senate.

Here is a reminder of what that record includes:

5. The phrase "her party" leads me to believe that it wasn't a Democratic writer who wrote this
Here's the part that smells funny:

"And in the next election, her party lost control of both the House and Senate."

Weird phrasing for a Democrat to write.

6. First instance I can find, plus original source
http://forbodden.blogspot.com/2008/01/this-article-was-passed-on-to-me-thru.html

Dated 1/9/2008 supposedly from an email dated 1/8/2008.

Article looks like a poor rewrite of a poor Dick Morris column from April 2007:

7. I'm an Obama supporter. I have rec'd no e-mails from Obama's camp at all, and none re Clintons.
And I wouldn't forward anything like that. I hate those supposed e-mails giving supposed facts.

8. The e-mail thing is a hallmark of radical right-wingers. And they're the only ones...
stupid enough to believe them, too. I suppose that's why they continue to use them. They are spreading the ones about Obama being a supposed muslim, etc.

10. I got the stupidest email ever, from an R coworker which compared all these Democrats who
Edited on Sun Feb-10-08 09:41 AM by BleedingHeartPatriot
were supposedly all born the same year, which happened to be the year that the "spaceship" supposedly crashed in Roswell.

The implication being, of course, that they were all aliens.

A quick google search revealed that there was about a twenty year disparity in the group's birth dates, and I think maybe one of them had a birth date in that year.

Oh, and the R coworker is a doctor. So, it's not just uneducated folks who buy into this swill. :eyes:

edit: grammer

12. The year is 2008
Why are you still opening and reading stupid email chain letters? Have you ever heard of a filter? All the cool kids are using them.
