the democratic party does not need a high visibility trial of Democratic politician corruption.
Even though I believe that the GOP has shot itself in the face, political corruption had turned the stomach of many voters (at least according to the 2006 exit polls which said it was a big issue for the voters)

12. Agreed to a point
I don't think this will spill over into the national media as much as some are thinking.

Does that make me corrupt?

reward those obvious criminals.

20. When property is on the market a long time,
businessmen discount it.

I tend to think that the main reason people are excited over this is that Rezko has dark skin, a hooked nose, and a foreign-sounding name.

I also think he might walk on all charges--the case is rather nebulous. And isn't that failure of a prosecutor Fitzgerald in charge of it?

21. The deal depended on selling the entire plot, which Obama could
not do alone. This is a specific favor, so the Chicago press is right to highlight the relationship.

As for the rest, I don't frankly care. What I've seen so far is enough ... HRC has gotten through her first term w/o a whiff of scandal.

5. I hope it's over soon so that people will shut up about it, too.
There's clearly no wrongdoing on Obama's part, and Clinton bringing it up was what brought me from neutral to negative. It was racial shit-stirring and nothing else.
