Obama Agrees to Debate in Ohio and Texas
Obama agrees to debates in Ohio and Texas
by Mike Dorning

OMAHA--Following Hillary Clinton's challenge that the Democratic candidate engage in a weekly series of debates, Barack Obama has accepted invitations for two debates in the next four weeks, one in Ohio and the other in Texas, his campaign announced.

Ohio and Texas both vote on March 4 in a four-state primary that will be a marquee event in the contest for the Democratic nomination.

The Ohio event, scheduled fone week before the primary on February 26 at Cleveland State University, will sponsored by NBC News and moderated by NBC anchors Brian Williams an Tim Russert. NBC affiliates throughout Ohio have agreed to broadcast the debate, the Obama campaign said.

The campaign said it will announce details for the Texas debate shortly.

Thats two debates in four weeks folks, so lets all calm down.

8. My boyfriend's a McCain supporter
I was telling him that Obama should be coming to the area soon, and I'll totally take a day off work to hear him speak, that's a worthy "vacation" day.

The boyfriend even said "I'd like to hear him speak in person too."

10. I think I know why he decided to debate her. He won last time re: Iraq. And now that we know
McCain will be the Repub. nominee, he'll be able to keep bringing it back to the IWR vote and her bad judgement. He'll point out how McCain won't be able to say he was for the war because he wasn't. Same with the K/L bill and his positions on torture and talking with enemies. Good move, Obama!

12. I'm happy Obama agreed
it was a smart move. Make this about issues and not gaming TV time, it's the way you want to win.
