4. Joined in early 2001 when I found myself in a parallel universe with Bush as Prez.
I know I'm being paid back for something rotten I did and that there is another world where Al and Tipper Gore are closing out their second term.

6. I'm new here, but I've voted blue since 1976 does that count?
And I agree about the bizarre nastiness, if there wasn't a fair amount of intelligent goodness here too, I'd bail.

8. October,'03
Not since the beginning. I've been trying to stay out of the fray. I hope there will be some 'normalcy' here at some point before the convention. The real world is not like this, I have friends who are for Hillary and for Obama but we all realize that we have reasonable differences and there is a certain sense of respect for different ways to achieve our progressive goals.

11. July, 2003 - I remember the Dean/Clark wars
I was a big Wes Clark supporter. I actually liked Dean a lot, though, as well as Kucinich. Those wars got nasty, but I don't remember them being anywhere near as hostile as what I see today.

This is as weird as I've seen it on DU, but then again, this is the strangest primary I've been a part of.
