She's too much tied to the old DLC mold of politics.

She's too tied to the notion of a closed party rather than an open party, a party controlled by big donors and elites rather than by anyone close to the rank-and-file.

If she gets nominated, fine, we'd back her then, but she can't be worthy of our support before the convention.

Until then, it looks like a choice of Obama or waiting for someone else to be drafted.

7. Dude-- don't speak for progressives. Some of us are all for world peace until
someone tells us what to do and how to vote.

Get over yourself.

Progressive for some derivation of the current top two.

9. I'm guessing you only have the right to speak for yourself.
Unless, perhaps, you've incorporated?

12. Sure they can.

Justice Stevens will be 88 years old in April. He's doing an admirable job, but he's been on the court since December 19, 1975. He's not going to be there forever!

13. And Obama and HRC are equally electable, so the court thing doesn't hold.
It isn't a question of HRC or defeat.

15. If you feel HRC is more electable than Obama (which I don't)
... but some progressives feel that way, then I'm just saying that it's possible for those people (who feel she is more electable) to vote for her in a primary.

14. Funny, THIS progressive already DID.
With Hillary, I know what I'm getting. It ain't much, but it's the devil I know.

And frankly, my ass is really sore from the Obama "We love gays! Fuck the gays!" schtick.
