2. I think they may actually be close
Most Democrats have figured it was a done deal so why bother to vote unless of course there was something other on the ballot. I know there is no reason for me to vote in a primary now that the selection is complete. It certainly is not an indication that Democrats love Bush* and won't turn out in a general election.

4. YOUR OHIO TURNOUT IS WRONG!
Dem party turnout was 34% in Ohio.

3,569,466 REGISTERED DEMOCRATS OR LEANERS

1,193,399 VOTED IN THE DEMOCRATIC PRIMARY

34% = DEM BALLOT TURNOUT

3,569,466 REGISTERED REPUBLICANS OR LEANERS

778,033 VOTED IN THE REPUBLICAN PRIMARY

22% = GOP BALLOT TURNOUT

8. Sorry, bearfart, but someone quoting Borwnshirts has little room
to cast aspersions on someone else's sources.

Whatever his sources are, unless it comes from al Jazeera, THEY ARE more credible than Freeper/Brownshirts (though I repeat myself).

7. These numbers may make Freepers happy...
but they are largely meaningless. Primary turnouts are always low, and comparing the Democratic primary vortes to all registered voters means nothing unless one knows the breakdown and eligibility of the population.

It takes a little digging through the links here, but some numbers are at:

http://elections.gmu.edu/Voter_Turnout_2004_Primaries.htm

gonna have to do some of your own math to get party comaparisons, though.

Note the very low numbers for most states in 2000 when both parties had candidates.
