1. Irrelevant polls taken before SC primary
After the primary, Obama has cut the lead in NY, for example, to 12%.

11. More to the point..
They were taken before the Edwards announcement, and (to a far lesser extent) before McCain became the clear Republican frontrunner. Both of these factors will inform a signifigant segment of Dem voters.

2. Two questions:
1) How old are those numbers?

2) Is there something more recent that takes into account the candidates who have dropped out?

Oh... and the numbers directly to the right of the candidate indicate poll date.

Some are rather old.

4. Polls are meaningless at this point.
Events change preferences also.

7. Only 3 of those are recent. Wouldn't you agree that a lot has happened since Saturday?
Keep spinning.

8. For the moment. Polls have not been dependable in these primaries.
Can't wait to see how Massachusetts is affected by the endorsements.

9. At least one third of the states have not been pollled since early December
And Delaware has not been polled since last June! Also who knows how Kennedy's endorsement will affect the vote in his home state.

There's a lot still to play for and a lot can happen in one week (can't believe South Carolin'a primary was only 4 days ago - it seems like ages)!
