Holy crap! Edwards won more counties than Obama!
Check it out: http://politics.nytimes.com/election-guide/2008/results/states/FL.html

Edwards won 11 counties, Obama won 8. That's got to count for something.

1. His wins came near the border with Georgia
This bodes well for the Georgia primary on Super Tuesday! :bounce:

3. What I think is more interesting is that Huckleberry actually won some counties
but Ghouliani didn't win crap.

4. I wish I could find the number of delegates that "would" be awarded
if the delegation is eventually seated.

6. Just click the link
From the linked page:

*The Democratic National Committee plans to penalize Florida Democrats for holding an early primary by stripping the state party of all its delegates to the national convention. If the penalty is lifted, the state party will have 185 pledged and 25 unpledged delegates.

I do not think the delegates will be awarded. This is a party power play, and they want to show Hillary who's boss. Is there any doubt?

14. Hillary agreed with the stripping of the delegates
it was a power struggle between the Florida State Democrats and the DNC. All Florida had to do was move it's primary back to it's normal time, on Feb. 5th...

17. As The Fonz would say,
"Exactamundo, Cunningham!"

It's a tactic by Hillary, too. Let the DNC come down on Obama's side. Let them proclaim their support for disenfranchising voters.

Rather than vilifying her for her savvy, I hope Obama shows some of the same kind of chutzpah. If they can (individually or collectively) hamstring the DNC, then it ought to be easy to keep the world's bad guys in line -- preferably without war.

Destroying the GOP? That should be our job. I'm sure they'll be glad to help.

5. Edwards did well for no national ads aired (or cabled) in Florida.
And keep in mind the media stays pretty much mute on Edwards nationally. Even with such handicaps he still got solid support from voters.

22. It bothers me that this shyster is PROUD that he can be a kingmaker.
Why can't you Edwards fans see how conniving he is? He's doing this for himself, not you.

23. Isn't that the Obamatons' whine from Nevada?
That Barack supposedly won a lot of real estate and he should get more delegates?

24. It sure does. Fla is a swing state - representative of the population make-up
in the country. And Edwards didn't have MSNBC on the teevee (& the rest of them) pushing for him.
