MSNBC (Sat. 1/26) projecting Obama win in SC... with 0% of the vote and 0% reporting"
Wanted to post this pic ('cause I thought it hilarious) of MSNBC declaring, during Saturday's South Carolina primary coverage, that Obama was the projected winner, with 0% of the vote and 0% reporting.

(sorry for the delay. I snapped it the other night, but had trouble w/ uploading.)

NOTE: The Kucinich/Obama numbers were photoshopped onto a separate screenshot, to present all the candidate totals in a single pic.

1. it's called "overwhelming exit polls in support of candidate X"
When races are alot closer, or they know their exit polling has been done badly (like in NH), news agencies don't project a winner.

2. That's what happens when it's a runaway
When it's not even close, they can project a winner instantly. Yes, she lost THAT badly ...

5. And it was such a SHOCK wasn't it??
:wow: :wow: :wow: :wow:

Matthews, Russert, Scarboro etc., etc. had told us for over a week that the entire black population of SC was going to vote for him. I mean we all needed medication at the outcome, it was such a shock, after all, good thing it wasn't pounded into our heads or anything.
:eyes:

9. Exactly. Not to mention that just a couple months earlier ...
... HRC was leading in the state by double-digits, and we were hearing how HRC had better support among blacks than Obama.

11. Kudos to Hillary for winning a primary akin to a pre-2003 Iraq election.
... perhaps minus the disappearances.

No campaigning, no advertising; name recognition determines all. At least some other names will be on the ballot this time around.

(It won't happen, but it sure would be a hoot if she doesn't win by more than double-digits.)
