Let me get this straight...
When Bill Clinton says that Obama's talk about being against the war from the beginning is a fairy tale it is perfectly acceptable for the MSM and the Obama supporters to take that out of context to rally their base in a bogus cry of racism.

When the *uniter* snubs his colleague this evening and there are eye witness reports and pictures to back up his immature behavior...completely unbecoming of a presidential candidate...

then...it is sooo unfair to listen to the MSM and pass judgment?

It seems a little disingenuous to me.

2. I acknowledge what you're saying, but I have this need to take this to a new level.
What you're witnessing is market politics in a country that can eat, can get along reasonably well without fear of death, and can acquire some type of comfortable shelter from day to day.

In other words, we focus on the petty because we can eat safely in a shelter. There are no life-or-death situations here, so we must look our gift horses in the mouth.

4. If you think this was petty or insignificant , you ain't a writer.
You can buy the vote of a starving man with a can of tuna. You think he gives a damn about the big picture or the overall well-being of his country? And people being murdered daily by factions will accept a dictator who clears the streets of roving bands of killers. Those are the big, important things the desperate decide.

We aren't starving? Yet. We aren't starving yet. WE must choose a leader for a time that may be very dark indeed. And no campaign is discussing it. It MATTERS when we see how triumph and defeat affect our candidates. Obama, boorish in triumph. Hillary, gracious and courageous in defeat. Or maybe you think it was the easiest thing in the world to walk over and greet those two? Look at the relief in her face when she saw Kennedy's extended hand. She hadn't been sure it would be there. But she didn't avoid the possibility of being snubbed in public. She faced it. Obama turned away.

The man couldn't handle a handshake with a woman whom the MSM's headlines proclaim was humiliated by him. When disaster strikes our country, what will he do, if he couldn't shake a woman's hand?

8. And if a woman can't deal with not having her hand shaken, what does it say about her?
Actually it says nothing about her right now because we don't know what her response is. Any more than a man not proferring his hand says anything about him when no one knows what the situation was.

How about you stop with the $.50 psychoanalysis of a couple of photographs?

What else will make him pout? We've had enough of that for the last 8 years...

6. Bill Clinton's behavior was so egregious that his own party objected
Edited on Tue Jan-29-08 03:43 AM by sfexpat2000
and told him to go away.

And this non event this evening is in no way commensurate with Clinton's shenanigans or the party would be all over Obama as well.

I think your OP is disingenuous and the party seems to agree.

12. Bull. They already had to fire a staffer that was out there
invoking the image of a young black drug dealer. And that was before they got going.

They've been as ham fisted as possible.
