That Hillary Clinton ain't nothin' but a Wal-Mart lawyer!

Listening to the Ed Schultz show today (with very special guest Norman Goldman) I noticed something very odd.

They were doing the standard Obama-Clinton tit for tat routine. One caller would say it's all Obama's fault and the other would say it's all Clinton's fault.

But what I eventually picked up on is that some of the Clinton supporters are having trouble with the whole "Wal-Mart lawyer" thing. More than one caller insisted that Obama was the one who first stepped over the line by calling Clinton a "Wal-Mart lawyer."

But here's the thing: They seem to think "Wal-Mart lawyer" is simply some kind of derogatory slam, like "two-bit lawyer" or "no-good lawyer."

They don't seem to understand that she was actually a lawyer for Wal-Mart. They think Obama was calling Clinton names. I guess they don't watch debates.

Anybody else notice this?

Stephanie Miller's "Hillary can't win" meme is also getting tiresome. I've been listening to her practically fellate Sen. Obama for 3 hours every morning since October.

biggest customer is Walmart. Hillary, like Michelle, was a director on the board of directors - not a lawyer for WalMart the way Obama's phrasing made it sound when he said she was "a corporate lawyer"

Like Oprah, the candidates should issue their own magazines: Hillary and Obama. (I think Obama is better than Barack, but that's just me. John Edwards is going to have to get creative.)

You gotta figure that they can issue maybe six issues over a year's span, and the advertising opportunities would be awesome. Political books, internet sites...

Wal-Mart today is far from Sam's Wal-Mart. Not that it was ever good, but it was not the global corporate giant that it is today.

From what I gather, his professional career seems to be bent on helping people. I just wish he was interested in helping all people equally as provided by the Constitution.

He wrote about watching his friend shoot up at work. It irrelevant now. So is her work history then. Of course the GOPers used her work history as a lawyer to attack her husband in the past. Many are offended by the fact a woman had a career. Obama signaled before the debate that he was going to hammer her and then threw that line out. It was rude and unnecessary. She responded with the Rezko hit and neither of them looked Presidential.
