My admittedly small sampling poll
I just finished early voting. My district (in Illinois) leans heavily right, but every single person who came in while I was there asked for a Democratic ballot.

It's not much, but it made me feel pretty good about November.

3. No. Illinois does not have an open primary. All voters can vote early...
there is no designated day for Democrats, Republicans, Independents, Green, or other 3rd parties for voting. You vote the party you're registered under.

That's best the Democrats are the only ones voting today. The Repugs voted last week.
