The powers that be have finally woke up to the fact
that the oil industry had a lot to do with the destruction of Katrina due to the techniques they used to find and process oil. They literally destroyed the vast majorities of the bayous. When will Joe Six Pac finally wake up to the snake oil big business feeds this social structure? Because Joe Six Pac is the only element that will finally put a stop to outsourcing the damage business does to the enviroment and finally to man. The "Good Book" warned us about greed and admonished us to care for the planet and its inhabitants (no necessarily just humans). Just how much stupidity is this planet going to take before it revolts? If you ask me I think the planet is well on its way to kicking us in the posterior and yet some idiots think nothing is wrong. The idiots being mainly Republican.

4. Read this piece earlier today
and while not necessarily definitive, certailny points to the contribution of the oil industry to the whole mess.
