1. I think the GOP caucases are about to begin - shortly
Me? I understand nothing of caucases - so, I'll wait for the results.

2. Polls favor Clinton.
Are you getting any feel for how people are leaning?

9. The polls are meaningless
This is a new experiment for Nevada with all kinds of twists like weighted rural over urban voting and casino caucus sites with union reps present to watch their members. Only a tiny percentage of Nevada residents will participate and there are no good models to predict which people will and will not show up or why. A screwy way to pick a President.

I can't wait for the race to return to primary states where there actually are secret ballots and people aren't forced to choose their second choice or have their "vote" discarded completely. At least folks in Iowa have been doing this for years now and have kind of perfected their system for what that is worth. The Nevada caucus is literally a crap shoot.

4. I heard final results should be in at 5 ET, though we should be hearing stuff earlier
The caucuses start at like 2-2:30, so I figure and hour or two after that, we should start hearing results.

7. Still will be interesting to hear from them.
Although I now favor Clinton, this election is really exciting, no matter who becomes our nominee. I predict we'll be nail biting all the way to the GE.

10. I think yes it will be a nailbiter. I kinda wish it would have been clearer.
I can't take all this excitement.

8. it is 10:40 am
registration is at 11 am--getting ready to go-we're in Boulder City---let you know how it turns out. A couple of days ago spoke with two people campaigning for Obama, they said that those they have talked to were two thirds democratic--it looked to be a three way split between Edwards, Obama, and Clinton. I'll let you know how it goes here. I better get ready for the caucus.
