Edwards Supporters - help spread the word about tomorrow's fundraising effort!

Hi all...I am pretty new to DU, but I have seen that there are a lot of passionate Edwards supporters like me out there...I think tomorrow's efforts to raise $7 million in one day will be amazing if they happen, but they won't happen without some work from his supporters...we should all try to do at least one thing to promote it, whether it's mentioning it in a comment on a story or blog on another site, or posting a bulletin on myspace or facebook...every little bit we do will help to get exposure for it! I created a group on facebook for it, and posted a bulletin on myspace.

Also I was thinking about paying to advertise the group on facebook tomorrow, does anyone know if there are weird campaign finance type rules that would relate to this and whether it would be ok?

There is a pronounced elitism at DU against people with low post counts, and it's self-defeating. It's also against the rules, so please feel free to alert the post if someone criticises you for being a newcomer! They're cutting off their own noses, so I hope you won't take it as a personal attack on you... it's *their* problem!

I hope you saw my welcome message to you, and please know that there are many of us who welcome and support you and other newcomers wholeheartedly!

Through his own site if you give $25 , the fed has to double it so he gets
$50

It'll keep him going to the convention.

doesnt matter if you can only give $10 or you can give $100, he'll get it doubled

People should call and mention the goal for today, as a means of getting MEDIA ATTENTION for Edwards...

I choke up when I call in - get so nervous about speaking 'on the air', so I don't think I'm the best one to do it. I tried on Tuesday, but the screener for Randi Rhodes cut me off...
