Whoever You Support, You Have To Admit This Race Has Been Fascinating
Taking into account recent history, where pretty much the entire county has been split 50/50 for the last two elections between the Republican candidate for president and the Democratic candidate for president, what you have right now is an amazing confusion and uncertainty over who America wants as its next president.

Based on what's happened in the first couple of states, it would appear America, as a whole, is split like this.

18% want Barack Obama as president.
17% want Hillary Clinton as president.
13% want John Edwards as president.
12% want Mitt Romney as president.
12% want Mike Huckabee as president.
12% want John McCain as president.
5% want Ron Paul as president.
4% want Fred Thompson as presidnet.
4% want Rudy Guliani as president.
3% want somebody else.

This is based on their averages in the primaries, cut in half. It's completely unscientific.

Just food for thought.

1. Just a friendly reminder
Kucinich got more vote than Fred Thompson in New Hampshire. Kucinich got about 3,000 and Thompson got about 2,000.

What this tells me is that many more are voting for Democrats than Republicans in open primaries.

You have to look at the numbers of the two primaries combined to get the full picture of this thing.

When a barely financed unknown supposed "kook" can get more votes than the Law and Order star, the Republicans are in very deep trouble.

Watch the numbers!

2. What really is different about this primary season is that...
it really looks like all 50 stateswill have a part to play in just exactly who is finally selected as our nominee. Certainly different from the last two presidential elections.

Think about it. If we had a primary a week, instead of the super contests coming up, we wouldn't hear about Paris Hilton again until sometime the other side of next Christmas. LOL!
