Poll: Hillary ahead in Michigan
Edited on Sun Jan-13-08 03:07 AM by antiimperialist
She's the only one running, but USA Today reports that "If the other major contenders were on the ballot, Clinton would still win with 46% of the vote. Obama would receive 23% and Edwards would get 13%. The poll also shows 42% of the current uncommitted vote going to Obama."

This is a Detroit Free Press poll from 1/8 to 1/11, 2008:

1. IOW: It's anybody's race
And there's something oddly comforting about that, too.

3. No one has campaigned in Michigan.
No rallys, no ads, and no organization. No matter. The poll only reflects name recognition.

10. I'm sure...
people in Michigan have TV's and yes, cable. I think we all know a lot more about these candidates than their names.

11. I'm from Michigam,I'm pretty sure we're following the race
as much as the rest of the nation. It's all anyone talks about.I'm also pretty sure most Michiganders recognize the top Democratic contenders by now.We get cable and newspapers here and have the internets! We don't live under rocks here, you know.

15. You have zero proof of that. Her support may be because of her staying on the ballot.

8. Uncommitted has moved up to 30%
and some Dems are deciding to vote in the Rep for Romney, to keep his campaign alive and keep the Rep campaign wide open.

14. I have no doubt that their delegates will get seated before the Convention

I think the Dems would not be so dumb to piss off Florida voters.

Imagine, they are told your votes dont count for anything by the Dem party, come GE time, they may just say, sod, you, why should we vote.

17. A win is a win to the media...
Sadly not enough people understand what happened to the Dem primary.. I am constantly having to explain it to people. Hope uncommitted can pull an upset!!
