"Back from the Obama/Kerry Event"

Back from the Obama/Kerry Event

I'm all in.

Having straddled the fence between Edwards and Obama, I went to see for myself the "leader of the movement." To start the PA announcer stated "Please welcome suprise guest...."

Would it be, could it be, no way......OPRAH????

"Sen. John Kerry!!" he continued.

Oh, OK, Hooray?

Then, Sen. Kerry gave one of the best introductory speeches I have seen. Full of passion, simple yet inspiring language, true conviction for the host he was to introduce. Simultaneously folk around us asked "where was this guy four years ago." Kerry laid out why the naysayers were wrong. How Jefferson was in his twenties when he wrote the Declaration of Independence and how MLK was a mere 34 years old when he marched on Washington.

3. Wow. He reminds me of Gore.

He only brought the passion, fire, and honesty this country needed--and his supporters knew he could provide--after the election was a distant memory. Whatever the reasons, it's certainly welcome now.

5. Not really. If only Gore had inspired 1,000 more Floridians to vote for him,
he would have been President regardless of the tricks. As for Kerry, well, there's no way to know.

7. 6 million votes (that we know of) were thrown away in 2000 nationally. Many more in 2004

I am sure - but we'll never know (the 2 Johns didn't care to fight for it so you'd know)
GOP-ers didn't WIN a national election since 1988. Your numbers are bogus - as the votes were never counted.

9. Six million votes were thrown away? There's a new one on me. Perhaps you mean
that six million votes were cast in Florida.

We wish we saw it 3 years ago, but it's a welcome sight now.

11. No real basis for this thought process but
does anyone think that perhaps Kerry could be a VP candidate for Obama?

12. Sorry
His endorsement takes away from Edwards, who stated that he respectfully understood Kerry. But...why did Kerry, who promised no surrender in Ohio 2004, concede so quickly? Skull & Bones anyone? There's way more to this than meets the eye.
