I'd love to see Edwards win the next one
Edited on Wed Jan-09-08 08:06 PM by demnan
The pundents and pollsters would be absolutely befuddled and wouldn't that be a wonderful thing?

They wouldn't know how to pontificate next. So come on in the next state lets make it happen for Edwards!

:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

1. I'd love to see it undecided before the convention
I want all the candidates to compete right upto the end.
I want them to put out their best.
I want Edwards talking points kept in the dialogue

5. I want the Democratic candidate to swear an oath that the first thing they will do after they are
sworn in is appoint an INDEPENDENT prosecutor to investigate and prosecute all the frauds of the last 7 years.

8. Absolutely....
If we get a Democratic president who doesn't follow up on prosecuting these bastards, I may have to just drop altogether.

6. I'd love to see Edwards supporters join me in recognizing
that as much as we tried, the all about Iowa strategy didn't work, and he is going to come in 3rd place in every state from here on out.

7. Had Edwards won Iowa and Obama won NH
that would have really damaged Hillary and eventually would would have had a real change election with 2 change candidates. I personally think he should go to SC and finish off there in his state of birth. After SC, it looks desperate to me. I know Edwards supporters don't like that, but I think it would be sad by the time Feb. 5th rolled around.

That said, looking at what happened yesterday, who really knows what the future hold. An good old fashioned Clinton bimbo eruption is always a possiblity. If it happens, Edwards is in like Flynn. Actually, that sounds totally plausible! LOL

9. That's a pretty defeatist attitude
I am assuming that you aren't an Edward's supporter yourself.

10. I was.
I'd love to see Edwards get the nomination, but there is no way in hell it is happening in 2008.
It isn't defeatist, it is reality. 3rd place. Everywhere.
I really don't want Clinton to be the nominee, but fortunately I like Obama.

17. As a Kucinich supporter I understand your pain
Edited on Wed Jan-09-08 09:22 PM by demnan
At least your candidate had a half way serious campaign. I won't get into the problems with mine, but it wasn't just the low poll numbers.

I suggest you stick it out a while and be proud. I met good people from the Edwards campaign, you have good people. Monday I'm going to an Obama fundraiser. The Obama people here in Virginia are good as well. I'm going to wear my Kucinich shirt. I want them all to think a little bit about Kucinich while I'm there.

It's my way of reminding them.

18. I will probably work for Obama too, though it is kinda useless in MI
I just can't sit by and let Hillary and the impending Bloomberg and Nader run give us another 4-8 years of a Republican. Obama wasn't my 1st choice, but he would be a good President.

15. You have to make it happen.
Do what you can for Nevada, or South Carolina. Send some money. Make some calls. Take a trip and volunteer.

Only the people will make this happen.

South Carolina is between him and Obama. I don't think Hillary has a chance there.
