Hey, Obama-bashers!
Edited on Tue Jan-08-08 01:08 AM by Occam Bandage
Ahem. My apologies for the shouting and whatnot. Anyway.

It has come to my attention that many of you harbor grave "concerns" about Sen. Obama's "lack of substance," and his "fluffy platitudes," and the like. To address this, our dear Katzenkavalier has posted Mr. Obama's firm positions and solid proposals here:

Barack Obama on Technology
Barack Obama on the Economy
Barack Obama on Faith
Barack Obama on Energy and the Environment
Barack Obama on Public Service
Barack Obama on Seniors and Social Security
Barack Obama on Healthcare
Barack Obama on Foreign Policy
Barack Obama on Iraq
Barack Obama on Poverty
Barack Obama on Immigration
Barack Obama on Education
Barack Obama on Helping Our Veterans

But yet, despite the wealth of information in these (information that would go a long way towards soothing your concerns), they seem to be sinking like rocks. What gives?

Edited on Tue Jan-08-08 12:51 AM by billbuckhead
Obama hasn't done much except vote present 190 times and beat Alan Keyes since the tougher Republican (7 of 9's husband) was a pervert and had to drop out.

I don't understand why when, after all these years, we are looking at forming a huge landslide coalition - we all don't just want to come here tomorrow night and celebrate about it. Just sayin.

We could easily get the same information on his website (and many of us probably have already, en route to our decision to support someone else)?

I could just as easily fill this forum with Edwards information and I'm sure it would also sink like a rock, for the same reason.

I'm sure it's been fun for you though, so don't stop.

:hippie:

Edit: P.S. certain M a l l o... certain people don't necessarily represent the cream of the Edwards supporters crop, just as certain people don't represent the cream of the Obama supporters crop. So let's tone down the rhetoric, ok? Remember that there's a good chance we're gonna be on the same side soon (it just remains to be seen which one will be at the top of the ticket).

Can they be reposted, possibly as three-way comparisons, maybe ONE or TWO topic focuses a day?
