It is not incredible, it is a problem
Obama: you (the people of New Hampshire) and the people of Iowa have more to say about the next President than any other people in the world. This is incredible!

(These may not be exact quotes, it happened several hours ago).

But this is the problem. It boggles the mind that the voters of two small states, that cannot even come close to the population at large, will have so much influence. That good people like Biden and Dodd had to quit the race when they have so much to contribute. That people in California, Texas, New York, Illinois and Florida will be faced with a "done deal" even thought their primaries are in feweer than 30 days.

1. I totally agree, perhaps a national primary is needed.
Peace!

2. And today I've heard that there are so many independents
voting in the NH primary, that some Democrats express concern about the party being "hijacked" by independents.

3. Yup! I Guess That's The Way It Goes
I didn't even have a chance to vote for the one person I felt could bring this country back. I thought that this was a democracy. What was I thinking?

5. I know. If Biden were still around he would have commented
about the Strait of Hormuz incident, that even Bush was asked about earlier in his news conference.

I doubt that Obama or Edwards could even find it on the map.

I really was hoping that Biden, and Dodd, stayed to at least Feb. 5th.

As it is, I think that the Republican's will be McCain, and if there is any foreign affairs event, not even a terrorist attack but some unrest in Korea, or Pakistan, or Liberia, Obama will stammer and McCain will sail through.

7. I Hear Ya...
So little comment on Foreign Affairs lately. You would think it was a non-issue.

4. It's really sickening. but it's people's fault for being so stupid they'll vote...
for whoever wins the first contests.

6. SO what have you been doing to change this,
or is it something you just now figured out.

Of course it is not a good thing, but it is what it is.

8. Not me. The candidates
We will never know how Dodd and Biden would have done in the "Super Duper Tuesday."

As of now, Clinton is leading NH, even though during the whole day everyone, even the RWers, were marveled at the "electricity" of Obama.

9. Look further ahead,
and you'll see the problem growing larger and more divisive.

My primary is May 20th. Should I be thanking all those voters in other states for diminishing the value of my vote?
