So what is Hillary's game plan from here?
Does she come out tomorrow guns blazing? How does she counter all of this wow obama talk on all the networks?

She will have to do something to pull herself back into a position of strength. What will it be?

Personally I think the "fun" will really start tomorrow.

1. The fact NH is less than a week a way may doom Hillary.
It might not be enough time to roll back Obama's momentum. Her biggest shot will be in the debate, where all guns will be pointed on Obama. If Obama does just enough, however, to win the debate, he might be unstoppable in New Hampshire.

2. I think you could be right
I think her line in the sand may just be the debate. She has her work cut out for her to be sure it is going to be interesting to watch.

5. yup. I remember reading that Obama does not like being the one to necessarily throw the punches but
does very well throwing punches back. Remember "i look forward to you advising me as well?"lol.

for the majority of primaries. She seems to have vastly misjudged the highway divider.

6. I'm guessing she'll come up with a humdinger of a speech at the 100 Club tomorrow.
I'm guessing it will be something other than the usual stump speech.

Wish I had a hundred spare bucks to see that event...! Obama and Richardson will be there as well. Edwards is begging off so far. If he could push his town hall back a bit, or send the wife ahead, they could maybe put him on first.

15. Well you were right
it was a decent speech. But then she was followed by Obama and he totaly eclipsed her again.

I dont know if she can actually turn this arround. Theres reports of her aperarances having low turn out now while Obama continues to atract crowds of 500+ everywhere he goes.

They are the pros though they have been at it a long time. 4 days to go now with a weekend in the middle its going to be real tough to turn this ship arround before tuesday. She is going to have to do realy well tonight at the debates.

19. Funny. The guy just does NOT sell it to me.
It is all bullshit and generalities. That's all I hear. He droned, and should have stopped speaking much sooner than he did.

Two of my family said "Why are those people holding their dinner plates up?" One thought the supportive demo was "overdone" and "scripted."

Of course, they all are.

I thought Clinton, Richardson and yea, even the hyperbolic Kucinich "connected" better. The BO effort to me was soporific. I know I'm in a minority with this view, but to me it was the same empty platitudes in the same sing-song voice. The tortured effort to say something that sure didn't sound like "health care for all" was the only bit that stuck out. I then went into a trance, and heard only sounds...and they weren't reassuring!

If he wins, he wins. I'll hold my nose and vote for him. But as time goes on, I'm less and less impressed. If you'd ask me if I could support him after the Keynote Speech in 04, I'd have said "Easily and enthusiastically." He's just not bringing it, though, in my mind.

9. did i mention 35 years of experience?
THIRTY FIVE YEARS OF EXPERIENCE! Think of it! All that change in thirty five years! change! experience! 35 years! Change! Experience!

if you repeat that over and over, louder and louder, pretty soon your head begins to spin like that girl in The Exorcist.

10. She was obviously not measured enough in her positions
She needs to increase her speech-crafting and policy-making consultation from the current 500-man team to at least 1000 in order to make her positions even more ambivalent and vague. She needs to proclaim loudly that she might be willing to proclaim something if need be, and loudness has its time and place and she will sure know when proclamation and loudness is needed for the good of the nation.
:sarcasm:

But really, though, I think she failed because she sat too comfortably in the "inevitable" seat, ignoring the base of the party. Expect a more "liberal" looking Hillary this morning and from now on - maybe some actually tangible statements about things. Whether or not she's capable of that, who knows.

11. She needs to become more genuine in less than a week.
I don't think she has enough time to pull that off.

14. Several things.
1) Place at least 2nd in NH and SC.
2) Spend LOTS of money on the super tuesday states.
3) Pray that Obama fucks up between now and then.

18. The last time she faced this, she changed her look
Nothing substantial, but her hair - even the name she used in public.

This is one methodical person who puts substance over style. I'm looking for a new hairstyle ... and a happier vocabulary. More family time in public ... campaigning in general.

It's how Bill made his comeback in Arkansas. But of course, he had her at his side.

20. Two things
1. Try for a "where's the beef" moment to deflate Obama.

2. Prepare to fight a mathematical campaign delegate by delegate by fighting in every state and winning the big ones. Kind of like a Kennedy versus Carter campaign. (yes I know he lost)
