A new poll released by Survey 2000 and published in the Waterloo Courier Saturday showed Obama with a significant lead over Clinton and Edwards, with Obama getting support from 33 percent of those interviewed, and Edwards and Clinton each getting support from 24 percent. Well back in the field was New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson with nine percent.

The poll interviewed 500 Democratic respondents. The margin of error in the sample was 4.5 percent.
