30. I'm a firm believer in Quantum Leaps!
They don't happen often, but they DO happen and the world needs one right now.

5. If the debate is moderated the same way the GOP debate was
it will be a major non-event that will put the audience to sleep.

6. You should have had; SSDD.
same shit, different debate. I think it will be more of the same. Even with Joe, but I hope he surprises me. If the format is the same as today, no one will be impressed, or impressive.

8. It's crunch time. I hope they steer away from foreign policy and
Iraq, just so Joe can demonstrate his command of domestic policy issues and action potentials.

26. Today the questions were selected from the readers requests -- the MOST
important question (from both Dems and Reps) was if our economic situation would affect our national security.

The moderator said they would not focus on the War. I'm not sure if they had Dems and Reps submit questions separately or not, so not sure which questions will be asked tomorrow.

15. Not much happens because most voted the same way...
Monday, November 26, 2007

http://www.dennis4president.com/go/newsroom/if-you-love-joe-biden,-you%92ll-love-clinton,-obama,-edwards,-richardson,-and-dodd-%96-but-not-kucinich/

"In a new ad blitz in Iowa today, U.S. Sen. and Democratic Presidential candidate Joe Biden exclaims about the “wonderful” support his “national security and foreign affairs” strategies are getting from Senators Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, and Chris Dood; former Senator John Edwards; and New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson...

Deliberately - and revealingly - missing from the political cast of characters in Biden’s approving/adoring love-fest among the Democratic candidates is Ohio Congressman Dennis Kucinich.

The Kucinich for President campaign issued the following statement this evening:

“The Congressman has the utmost respect for Senator Biden and his years of service to the nation. He just happens to be wrong on some very major issues; and, if the other candidates agree with him, then they’re wrong, too.

“They voted to authorize the war in Iraq. They approved continued funding of the war. They voted for the Patriot Act. They supported trade agreements that have had a devastating impact on American workers. They have failed to challenge the President and the Vice President for their unrepentant and continued violations of the U.S. Constitution.

“There’s a reason that Congressman Kucinich was the only candidate deliberately excluded from the ad blitz,” said his campaign. “Joe Biden knows, and the other Democratic candidates know, that Dennis Kucinich doesn’t walk their line..."

get desperate. Maybe even someone in the bottom tier. I think someone is going to take a chance...take a risk in an attempt to take someone down ahead of them.

20. Same old same old.
Clinton will manage to avoid answering the questions while appearing insincere and condescending.

Obama will avoid answering the questions while still appearing completely sincere and engaged--it's a god given talent--Bill Clinton could do it too.

Edwards will still sound and look like Opie with his underpants rucked up his butt--he'll make sense but no one will listen.

Biden will give a strong performance as usual but it won't matter much--hasn't done much for him in the past.

Richardson will doze through the whole thing unless someone gives him an extra large coffee with double expresso shots--maybe he'll shake things up but then again--probably not.

Sadly, no one will care much about what poor Chris Dodd says.

Kucinich was not invited nor was crazy uncle Mike--too bad--at least they livened things up.

It doesn't matter much. The pundit types will declare Hillary Clinton the winner because she knows how to play the rope dancing game better than the other candidates.

Am I sounding just a wee bit jaundiced?

23. Did not watch the Republican debate
but I wandered into Chris Matthews it appeared that the organizers were do dense, would not let them talk about immigration and Iraq, that nothing happened.

So why should tomorrow be any different?

It's make or break time, and I'm anxious to hear what messages the candidates think it's important to get out. Sorry Kucinich won't be there!

The debate is relegated to irrelevance with the absence of the candidate with the cleanest, strongest message.

33. I have a hunch that choice #3 will be the scenario
I think Edwards will be the major beneficiary of the Hillary-Obama Wars. I think the moderators are going to pummel Hillary and Obama with questions relating to their current feud, so they'll have to spend more time defending themselves. Right now Edwards is immune from any questions like that from the moderators, which will leave him with more free time to discuss what he'll do as President. If the moderators keep the Hilary-Obama feud alive during the debate, I think Edwards could come out of this with a huge jump in the polls.
