When you're ready to join the party, just dive on in and you'll be welcome. :D

Ultimately, we are all on the same team in the end....

8. Yes, I was teasing. But I have to confess I have serious reservations about Obama.
Of course he's a million miles better than any of the Republicons on offer.

9. Okay.
Vote your own conscience. That's all any of us can do. And we can do it without bashing each other (though some here at DU don't seem to realize that).

Any one of our Democratic candidates is a gazillion times better than anything the reTHUGs can offer.

After these primaries are over, all of us Dems will be partying together and working for the same team again, getting ready for the Big Game against the reTHUGs.

That's what matters.

:pals:

10. Not from me!
If he were to win the nomination I'll pull the lever next November, but I'll tune out the whole election until then.

20. No, I won't spend my time or my money campaigning for him.
If, and that's still a big if, he wins the nomination I'll show up to vote but I don't think I could even be bothered to watch the debates. I'll vote for the nominee since any Democrat would be better than a Republican, but that'll be the extent of my involvement.

12. No way. Let him "viva" as a senator. Next worst thing than a Republican (maybe worse than Hillary.)

13. Senator Obama has had two very good weeks in the campaign here,
topped off with the Winfrey endorsement and tour.

I can remember not a month or so ago on these boards when folks were writing his political obituary and would not listen to a few lone voices out there in the media who suggested it was far too early to order a coffin.

These last 14 or so days must be very encouraging to the Obama campaign, and likely not just in Iowa.

16. More and more people have finally been asking that
I used to like his premise, but over the course of these primaries he and Oprah have yet to give details on just how he's going to exact this change.

17. about time...the scary thing is so few of his supporters have any answer to that basic question
What does that tell you about the reasons they are supporting him?

19. It starts with that thing Hillary will never do: Reforming government
Channel power away from private special interests and to the public. This is what he has always done in his career. Everything, from health care to energy to strategic investments in our economy flows from there.

Plenty of info here; don't pretend you were never told when you flame away again for the 1,000th time:

18. I remember a "Viva Howard Dean" in 2003...
....around this time - Dec 8, 2003.

http://people-press.org/reports/display.php3?ReportID=198

I think I'll skip the "Viva Anybody" and wait and see what this volatile 2007 electorate wants to do.
