Ok, Massachusetts, I know you have alot to say :woohoo: about, Red Sox won the World Series, NE Patriots will probably win the Super Bowl, may even go 19-0, Celtics are 12-2, but for Christ's sake how can McCain be beating Obama in that state..Ok, it's only 3% (within margin of error) but Barack Obama should not trail ANY Republican in MA. at any time....What's up w/that?....Obama leads against all others though, including Romney...

HRC beats everyone, including McCain...

2. It's all a matter of how top loaded a poll is with Republicans and
right leaning Independents. The poll will not say "right leaning" independents but that is how you get a poll like this to show different results.....Just like the zogby interactive poll released earlier this week....
As i said there are 53 members of a lil' group that subscribe to this Zogby interactive and of the 53 only 5 received this poll. Oh, I did receive a poll yesterday that dealt with how I like what my Senator and Represntative were doing....uh huh...

3. Survey USA? I am not sure how well they penetrate in MA.
Our governor, who is black, has endorsed Obama, FWIW.

It really is a neck-and-neck contest, given the MOE.

McCain hasn't been up this way much--in NH, sure, but not in this state. People really have as an impression the OLD McCain in MA, from the first Straight Talk Express--not the more craven and cowardly fellow we see today.

Basically, what the survey is saying is that IN MASSACHUSETTS, Clinton is a stronger candidate than Obama, and odds are good either one of them could beat any comer from the other team in this particular state.

Today.

Right now.

Subject to change with the vagaries of media coverage, rightwing smears, and general foolishness.

4. People don't know Obama as well as they know HRC and McCain...
In a GE campaign this would likely change drastically and voters got to know the candidates and their positions. GE match-ups this early don't mean much of anything.

5. THis should tell you how much these polls can be trusted
in a real election Obama would get 65% in MA
