44% of American Voters Saying They Will Never Vote for Hillary Clinton
Psssst. To all DU'ers. Let me let you in on a little secret. It only takes 50%+1 to win.

http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/461971/44_of_american_voters_saying_they_will.html

The Gallup Organization conducted a nationwide poll to see exactly what the reasons for the voters oppositions are to her campaign for President. Recent polls show that 44% of the registered voters say they defiantly would not vote for her in 2008. Gallup asked them to explain why, in their own words.

The largest number, 25% simply said they do not like her or do not care for her, 17% said they do not agree with her views on the issues, but did not get any more specific, 13% said they did not like her husband and did not want to see him back in the White House, 12% said she is too much of a politician and changes her mind on the issues too often, 11% said she is dishonest and do not trust her, 9% say she does not have enough experience, 8% say only a man should be President and the country is not ready for a woman, 6% say it is because both she and the ex President have a history of scandal and controversy, 6% say it is because they see her as a radical or socialist, 6% say it is because she believes in a nationalized health care or socialized medicine, 5% because of her stance on the Iraq war, 5% say she is too liberal, 4% because she is a Democrat, 2% because of her views on immigration, 4% had other reasons, 4% just said they do not like her for no particular reason and 1% had no opinion.

5. what i'm saying is it's a non-issue
Hillary is just as electable if not more so than any other democrat. 44% of voters will not vote for anyone with a D beside their name.

7. Sorry, but you're wrong on this.
Just look at how Hillary polarizes us at DU. And she unites the Republicans, almost energizes them to oppose her. No way can that be overcome.

8. Hillary does polarize us here at DU, but most of us will rally behind her if she's the nominee
Not all liberal Democrats will support her, but I think most see the importance of getting the presidency.

I agree with you that she would energize the Republican base.

6. You should know from the last two elections that 50% + 1 isn't nearly enough to "win"
And you can bet Hillary will choose her own "viability" over challenging any election shenanigans.

12. In the primary, you mean. Neither am I.
But if she is the candidate in the general, I will vote for the Democratic nominee.
